Happy Fall...

Hi Lovelies..

My card today is for our Bellarific Friday over at Stamping Bella...  we had a photo for inspiration that had such fabulous autumnal colours, it was easy to decide which image to use..

This is the gorgeous Tiny Townie Layla Loves Leaves... and she's having a fun time kicking up all the leaves on her woodland walk.

I did a little Distress Ink 'smooshing' to create the background with all the colours from the photograph... but then I added a few gold gilding flakes to give it some more interest.

Card Info:
Image - Stamping Bella Layla Loves Leaves Rubber Stamp (or available in the UK at Dies to Die For here)
Sentiment - Stamping Bella Fall Sentiments
Colouring - Copics
Hair - E25/27/29
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Dress - E07/08/09
Jacket - YR23/24/27
Tights and Shoes use above colours
Distress Inks - Vintage Photo, Carved Pumpkin, Crushed Olive

If you'd like to join in the fun at Stamping Bella - next week it's an Anything Goes week...  all you need to do is use a current Stamping Bella image on your creation (how hard is that?!!) and then either link it to the Stamping Bella Blog, or email it directly to emily@stampingbella.com  - you could win some fabulous Bella Bucks to spend!

The sun is shining here today - I hope it stays for the weekend - have a fabulous one, whatever you're up to!

Gingerbread Lucy

Hi Lovelies...

I'm back again today to share my card using the gorgeously cute Gingerbread Lucy from CC Designs.  I decided to make a Christmas tag with her, so fussy cut around the image so I was able to pop her up on 3D foam tags.

I used some kraft card for the tag, together with a little bit of LOTV/Nitwits Christmas paper.

'Tis the Season....

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

Today I'm sharing another card I did for fun - using this fab image from Clearly Besotted - this is 'Let's Prance'.  I bought both the stamps and the dies for this one, as although I love fussy cutting, I think I may have struggled with those antlers!

I started off colouring and cutting the reindeer - then put them aside while I did the background.  I used Distress Inks to blend a sky - then sprinkled a bit of water to give a snowy effect, and finished with a white Sharpie pen for the snow falling.

I used a old Memory Box hillside die, combined with a couple of trees from another Clearly Besotted die..  then smothered the hills with Crystal Stickles (smothered me too!)  Then I stamped the sentiment on some red card and embossed in white.

Card Info:
Dies - Memory Box Hillside, Clearly Besotted Hillside (for trees),
Your Next Stamp Scalloped Stitched Rectangle
Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Blueprint Sketch
Colouring - Copics
Reindeer - E51/53/55/57
Reds - E24/46, E57
Sequins and Stickles

I LOVED making this card...  hope you like it too...

Big glittery hugs...

Peek a Boo Unicorns....

Hey Peeps....

Our theme at Stamping Bella's Bellarific Friday this week was CIRCLES - to use them in any way we liked on our cards..  and as I'd bought this new MFT die a short while ago - it seemed just the right occasion to use it!

I used the little Set of Unicorns to peek through the windows... and I do wish we had Sparkle-Vision for this as they are truly sparkly..  how come it never shows properly on our photos...  so annoying...

Card Info:
Images - Stamping Bella Set of Unicorns (there are four in total)
Sentiment - MFT Essential Sentiments
Die - MFT Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Window and Edge
Paper - Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow
Colouring - Copics
Unicorns - N0/1, T1
Pinks - RV52/63/55/00
Purples - BV02, V01/25/17
Greens - YG23, G14

I raised the white part of my card with foam tape - so that the unicorns could be slotted in and peek through... then I coloured a circle to go behind each.  I LOVED making this little card - it certainly was one of those that made me smile the whole time I was creating!

We have a photo for inspiration for next week's theme...  such wonderfully rich fall colours to use... can't wait!  If you'd like to take part, use a current Stamping Bella stamp, then link your card on the Stamping Bella Blog - or you can email it directly to emily@stampingbella.com

Little Santa Agenda....

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

Guess what I've been up to??  Santa has made his presence felt in my craft room...  and I've been colouring this little guy  (and I MEAN little, he only measures less than1 inch tall!) in all his different poses.. then wondering how to use them..... hmmmm....

Well inspiration hit this morning, when I came across some tiny little cards in a darker kraft colour tucked in my drawer..  they are just 3.5 x 3.5 inches.  I'd already fussy cut my Santa's one evening while I was watching TV.. so they were ready to use.  I used my old Spellbinders dies for the circle and scalloped circle... then used Distress Inks for the sky.  Then I cut a few extra white circles, so that I could cut out a snowy slope for him to stand on.  A little flurry of snow behind him (with my Sharpie white pen), and a bit of magic sparkle for Santa, and they were ready to go on a card.  I added some old Pink Petticoat sentiments, punched out with an old Stampin' Up punch - and they were finished!  I do have a lot more to make though, as I'd coloured and cut lots of these little guys!!

Here's close-ups of the guy in red...

Card Info:
Sentiments - Pink Petticoat Tiny Christmas Sentiments (unavailable now)
Dies - Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped Circle, Old Stampin Up punch
Distress Inks Broken China and Tumbled Glass
Sharpie White Pen
Colouring - Copics
Reds - R24/46, E57
Fur - W0/1
Boots - C9
Various colours for gifts etc..
Glitter

See?  I knew there was a reason I'd hung on to these older things...  I am a true hoarder... but eventually stuff comes in handy...

I'm enjoying making in miniature at the moment - there's more to come tomorrow... see you then!

Big hugs
