Lily of the Valley...

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm back with another Stamping Bella make - but this time it's for our Bellarific Friday - the criteria was to make a shaker card.  Well, I LOVE making shaker cards, so I set to and coloured one of the Garden Girls - this is Lily of The Valley - isn't she lovely??

Card Info:
Paper - Doodlebug Design
Die - MFT Peekaboo Rectangle
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/0/11/71/93
Hair - C3/5/7/9
Dress - B000/01/02, BG10/11

Unfortunately, the skies were grey when I took the photos, so the true depth of colour isn't showing through..  such a shame as her dress is a lovely shade.  Ah well..

Hope you'll pop over to the blog to see what the other babes have come up with - and hope you've managed to get your order in for the fabulous new release images too!

Big hugs

This time she's donned her gorgeous pink leotard and pushed her sparkly wings through the 'wing hole' in the back...  so she could pick up her magic wand and wish for......  cake!  Don't ya just love her shape???  I think she's been modelled on me (ha! wish I looked that good LOL!) - though I don't remember posing at all...

Never too old for bubbles...

Hi Lovelies..

I'm back with another of the fabulous new release from Stamping Bella..  this is 'Bubble Chicks'!  I decided to have them floating free on their bubbles - so I fussy cut the chicks and the bubbles - shaped them with an embossing tool, then adhered them onto acetate for the front of the card..  with some stencilled clouds and diecut cloud borders.  I love the effect it created.. don't you?

A Special Occasion...

Hi Lovelies....

We have a fab new challenge over at In The Pink today - and our theme is

SPECIAL OCCASION

Well, as my head is still in the land of weddings, I decided to make a card for one of THOSE special days...  it couldn't get more special really!

This is a digi image from Tiddly Inks - I fussy cut it after colouring...  then I created the background with Distress Inks smooched onto watercolour paper using acetate.  It's so quick to do - and I always love how it turns out!  It needed to be quick for me this time, as I've got to say, I was soooooo late making my card!

Card Info:
Simon Says Stamp Word Die - cut from background and
raised using extra die cuts
Distress Inks - Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71/93
Hair - E40/41/42/43
Dress and Suit - C0/1/2/3/5
Pink - RV63/55
Sequins

Hope you like what I did and that you'll pop over to In The Pink and join in the fun.  The Special Occasion theme can cover birthdays, anniversaries, etc.... in fact ANY occasion you'd make a card for.  Our generous sponsor this time is the Digi Stamp Boutique.. you could win a fab voucher!

Bicycle Made For Two - Emma's Wedding!!

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends..

Well.........  the wedding came!!  My eldest daughter got married to her lovely new husband on Saturday up at Castle Bolton in the Yorkshire Dales.... and it couldn't have been more perfect in any way!!  The sun shone... and just everything went perfectly!!  (photos below!)  I've got to say a massive well done to Emma for all the organisation she did in just a few months...  I think she may missed her vocation - she should be a wedding planner!  Mind you, I think it's probably different when it's your own wedding you're planning...

Soooooo this is the card I made for her and Joe....  I'll freely admit I case'd it totally from a card I'd seen on Pinterest by Cristina 'Yainea' Nunez (from My Paper Journey) - when I spotted it I knew it was so perfect for them as they're both keen cyclists who think nothing of cycling through Europe together... but not on a tandem!  I changed the design slightly - but the sunset and grass etc, and the fancy fold are not my design and I have to give full credit to Christina!

Card Info:
Image - Lawn Fawn Bicycle Made For You
Distress Ink Background (Worn Lipstick and Scattered Straw)
Colouring - Copics
Dies - Lawn Fawn Grass Edge, MFT Clouds

They were so thrilled with the card - it made me really happy to see them open it!

Now..... photos!!! (if you click on them, they go larger..)

(Iced by Joe's 93 year old Grandma!!)

My two lovely daughters - how proud am I!!!

(LOVED my hat!)

The Venue - Bolton Castle, Castle Bolton, Swaledale, Yorkshire

(some of my input.. though I didn't do the napkin or make the gin - the booze was down to Emma and Joe!  I also did the hessian table runners, the table plan, the menus, the order of the days..... etc.... etc)

Sorry to overload the photos...  but hope you can get a glimpse of how perfectly the day went.. there was even a ceilidh in the evening with lots of fun!
